WIKILEAKS ANNOUNCES 90,000 CLASSIFIED AFGHAN WAR DOCS LEAKED

Wikileaks announced the publication of more than 90,000 U.S. military classified documents dealing with the Afghan war. The Afghanistan leaked documents are from 2004 to 2009 and show a view of the war in Afghanistan the public has yet to see. The leak has brought with it a fury of questions, controversy and begs the question whether military troops will be harmed due to the release of extremely sensitive material.

The leak has been condemned by the White House. A statement released today says, “The United States strongly condemns the disclosure of classified information by individuals and organizations which could put the lives of Americans and our partners at risk, and threaten our national security.”
