WHISTLEBLOWER FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST CITY
A whistleblower lawsuit has been filed against the north Texas city of Forest Hill by a former employee who claims he was fired for reporting misconduct by the city’s mayor to the FBI. Former City Manager David Miller claims in his lawsuit that, in 2007, Mayor James Gosey asked Miller to provide “special favors” and recommend inappropriate actions to the council to further his own agenda. Miller claims he was fired shortly after and was not paid his severance package as specified in his contract.
