Possible ATM Fraud Link to Hancock Fabrics
Customers of banks located in California, Missouri and Wisconsin are reporting unauthorized ATM withdrawals from their accounts. The customers have something in common. All of bank customers involved have also used their debit cards at Hancock Fabrics retail stores.
To date, 60 victims are from California, 10 from Missouri and 70 from Wisconsin. One of the California Hancock Fabric stores claimed to have recently replaced its point of sale hardware , but Hancock Fabrics corporate office would not return calls inquiring about the potential security breach.
