More than 1 Million Massachusetts Residents Affected by Data Breach
Over 1 million residents of Massachusetts residents have been the victim of a data breach between November 1, 2007 and October 31, 2009, according to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. The Office monitors and enforces state data breach regulations. To date, since November 1, 2009, an additional 59 data breaches have been reported to the state of Massachusetts.
