LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST POWER COMPANY FOR ALLEGED POLLUTION

The Maryland Department of the Environment has filed a lawsuit against Mirant Mid-Atlantic power company, claiming that a 300-acre landfill where the company dumps millions of tons of ash is polluting the Mattaponi Creek.
