Judge dismisses Fosamax lawsuit

A New York federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit against Merck in which the plaintiff alleged the drug Fosamax causes damage to the jaw bone.   A Mississippi woman claimed Fosamax caused her to develop osteonecrosis of the jaw.

Merck is defending over 900 lawsuits where plaintiffs allege Fosamax causes osteonecrosis of the jaw.
