HACKER GROUP “ANONYMOUS” LINKED TO SONY PSN DATA BREACH
Hacker group known as “Anonymous” is linked to he massive Sony PSN data breach, according to the Register. The Sony Playstation network was recently hacked and as many as 77 million customers have begun to receive breach notification emails from Sony regarding the attack. In its letter to Congress, Sony chronicles the data breach timeline, including the dates it first became aware of the cyber attack.
