900 NEW CIVIL HEALTHCARE FRAUD INVESTIGATIONS BY DOJ
At a recent health care fraud press conference held with HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, Attorney General Eric Holder noted that DoJ was prosecuting record numbers of health care fraud cases and that the Civil Division “opened nearly 900 new civil health care fraud investigations and had more than 1,100 pending cases.”
