FLORIDA NURSING HOME RESIDENTS VICTIMS OF ID THEFT

Florida law enforcement arrested two people for conspiring to defraud senior citizens.  Police say Cathy McLain, a nurse at Brandywyne Healthcare Center in Winter Haven, Florida took personal identifying information, including Social Security numbers, birth dates, and other personal information from more than 80 patients at a Florida nursing home.  The nurse is also accused of selling the personal identifying information to Derail Bess.  Police believe Bess used the information on Turbo Tax and received thousands of dollars in tax refunds.
